The problem: job boards and search results are snapshots. Postings get filled, closed or pulled, but the listings hang around. Job seekers waste hours on postings that are already filled, and AI agents that apply on your behalf do it at scale, burning credits on positions that no longer exist.

What Livecheck does: paste a job link and it checks the source right now: the posting page itself and, for Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday, the platform's own jobs data. You get Open, Closed, or Can't tell, with the evidence. If a site blocks automated checks, it says so instead of guessing.

For people, that's the whole thing. For agent builders: the same check is an API call, POST /v1/verify/job, $0.01 each, with no account or API key. Livecheck accepts Stripe machine payments (MPP) and x402, and it's listed in the Stripe Directory and the MPP services directory. Shopping agents can use it too: POST /v1/verify/listing checks whether a Shopify or eBay product is still in stock before buying, same $0.01. There's also a drop-in skill for Claude Code and other agents.

How we tested it: In our own Oct 25 test of 21 real job postings across Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday and LinkedIn, Livecheck got 17 right, returned "can't tell" on 4, and got none wrong. It called zero closed postings live. In our own Oct 25 test of 13 products on Shopify and eBay, it reported zero sold-out items as available.
