Hi Product Hunt β Iβm Jake π
I built Lintly because I was spending too much time rewriting prompts to get reliable structure and outputs. I wanted an editor for prompts the way Cursor is an editor for code.
What Lintly does
Quick Edit β rewrites a messy ask into a short prompt spec (goal, constraints, output format, negatives) with a transparent diff.
Autocomplete β suggests likely next edits based on your recent changes.
Agent Mode β runs multi-step tasks while keeping you in the loop.
Why itβs useful
Fewer retries, faster βready-to-runβ prompts, and edits you can trust (you see exactly what changed). Designed to be portable across ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.
Whatβs live today
Working prototype of Quick Edit as a Chrome extension (see the hero in the gallery).
Autocomplete & Agent Mode in canary; beta opening soon.

Iβd love your feedback
1. What do you mostly use LLMs for?
2. Whatβs most frustrating when composing prompts/interacting with LLMs?
3. Does an agent that lives with you across all your LLMs and writes your prompts like Cursor writes your code sound useful?
Happy to answer anything about the approach, tech, or roadmap. Thanks for taking a look! π
