This is not your average course on AI! As with everything I have seen from Nick, this is a course that is deliberate, considered and will continue to provide value long after (AI fashion of the moment) is gone. The course gives you the tools you need to start getting results straight away. And, the skills you need to continue to grow and develop your AI assets, independent of any specific tool, for years to come.
It is an incredibly welcoming community that offers support regardless of what your specific circumstances, and wants from AI, are. For me the Linking Your AI course (combined with my Obsidian Vault that has been heavily shaped by Nicks work) has helped me go deep on figuring out how to pace and manage long term mobility problems. It has helped me pull out the necessary data so that my GP and I could figure out a medication plan (that has already made the world of difference). It has helped me work through the knots and get unstuck when it come to trying to build an online business. It has helped me free up so much time and energy that I am excited to learn, write and pick up creative projects again.
This course offers so much more than simple AI for productivity and marketing (though if these are your goals I am certain you will find plenty of value here). The approach is one that genuinely allows AI to become a thinking partner; not a replacement brain, and to work with what matters to you;not just to the capitalist machine.
The only thing I had on the list was a dedicated space to share what you are working on and chat with others. But they have since added that so not sure there is anything else I can think of.
A couple reasons.
The file over tool philosophy. I have lost far too many hours to developing processes and skills for specific tools only to have them become hostage to subscription charges, or lost when that tool is no longer functional or the most helpful.
The considered approach re. where AI could actually add value rather than just noise, and ensuring high quality results quickly and without token wastage/unnecessary energy consumption. Just because AI can be used for something doesn't mean it should.
Nick and the team have clearly spent time really thinking about how to develop this tool in a way that aligns with their wider principles and have choose to use this tool in a way that allows us to develop our own thoughts and skills, not replace them.
But most of all, unlike most AI related courses - which focus on increasing productivity and becoming better cogs in the capitalist machine - Linking Your AI takes a step back to ask what you want to do. Where are you stuck? What do you want to learn or get better at? How can AI take some of the tasks that don't require your unique skills and insight so that you can spend your time creating what you want, exploring where you want, spending time with those you want? The LYT community has a love for learning, curiosity, creating and life in general, that reaches far beyond the tech bro/productivity sphere. It is one of the most welcoming and inclusive spaces I have found online and it is a joy to be part of.
I set up my system over the weekend and expected to face some challenges. However, everything came together faster than I anticipated. With the help of templates, video tutorials, and an AI that truly assisted me, I accomplished quite a bit. By the end of the weekend, I had organized folders I had been putting off for months, created a project plan, downloaded and sorted receipts from my inbox, and drafted three handouts for an upcoming corporate webinar.
I'm not particularly tech-savvy, and I wasn’t sure how far I could get. However, LYAI is designed for people like me: the instructions are clear, the structure is reliable, and the AI becomes a capable partner once you provide it with context. My daughter-in-law, who is a data scientist, was even impressed when I showed her what I had built. So was I a— and I was the one who built it.
I was truly surprised by how much I enjoyed learning and building while seeing immediate results. LYAI is one of the first systems I've used that feels more collaborative than complicated. I keep discovering new ways it can help me be more effective and efficient in both my professional and personal life.
I don't have any suggestions at this time.
I had tried several AI products, but there were concerns about working directly within their systems. LYAI removed those concerns and was able to immediately use my existing Obsidian vault, which was another plus.
Absolutely no one out there training about notemaking and Obsidian knows about the process better than Nick Milo and the Linking Your Thinking team!! In other programs, Nick has broken down the process of thinking and connecting your thoughts. He and the team created the platform known as Ideaverse - a preformatted template for using the exact same way that Nick and his thousands - maybe even tens of thousands by now - of followers use. Now he has created the way forward to massive involve Artificial Intelligence in the process of thinking and iterating your thinking and your notes... not because AI should be doing your thinking for you - but because AI helps you to come up with the sparks - that lead your further and deeper more than ever before. Like ever other product that Nick and LYT have created - I wholeheartedly cannot hesitate to recommend Linking Your AI.... the latest and greatest in a long long line of creativity. If you need something to help you regain the spark - or looking for another way to add the next layer of thinking... run don't walk and pick up Linking Your AI. You will not be disappointed! Easily 10 stars out of 5 if I could have selected that.
Honestly - I can't think of how it could be improved right now - but I guarantee you that Nick and LYT will improve upon it.
I trust Nick and the LYT team. They understand how my mind works and help me to bring value to my thinking each and every day. I know their product will always exceeds my expectations.

Hello Product Hunt! 👋
It's time to stop getting trapped by AI companies wanting to lock all of your skills, prompts, and conversations in their app. It makes it harder to work with new tools that eventually compete with or even replace our current ones.
The way I figured out how to make AI work for me, both in the short and long term, was to own my AI assistant, to own the playbook for it, and to own the operating instructions for it.
Claude doesn't own my AI assistant. OpenAI doesn't own it either.
I own my AI assistant. Our product "Linking Your AI" makes it possible.
If you want to get your own AI assistant—one that is personal, powerful, and future-proof— and you don't want to spend a year on it like I did, then treat me as your assistant!
I've already done the work on your behalf. It's gift-wrapped for you.
You just have to follow three easy steps...
Get a fully-functional AI operating system. Instantly save several months of your time and energy with a stress-tested and proven system.
Learn how to use it. You don't have to go it alone. We guide you forward—making sure you learn the systems by using the systems.
Make it your own. Create your own skills, systems, and customize your AI assistant to meet your personal needs.
But you don't have to start from scratch.
Linking Your AI has 8 systems and three times as many skills to power your AI assistant immediately!

@rosemary_purr - Thank you so much for sharing, Rosemary. I love how you've shared how you're using Linking Your AI on your terms.
I'm glad you've been able to separate your creative writing while also allowing AIOS to support your workflows and with research along the way. As you know, I do something similar in keeping my own ideas and knowledge in a separate vault from AIOS, while still support me with the busywork.
I also so appreciate hearing how LYT has helped you this year. It's truly been a privilege supporting your experience and getting to follow your transformation and I continue to look forward to crossing paths in the community, Rosemary. 😃 Thanks again for sharing and supporting the launch today! 🙏

@rosemary_purr It's great to hear how you are integrating AI on your terms, Rosemary.
Congrats on your launch on Product Hunt@nickmilo !
I came into this as someone who had already built a lot of systems, but they lived in my head or scattered across tools, never quite connected. What Linking Your AI gave me was a framework to externalise that architecture in a way that actually holds. I now have an automated morning briefing pulling in everything I need to start the day, and a guided process that turned months of scattered research notes into a clear, structured map of ideas, in a single session. That last part surprised me most. I expected a note-taking helper. What I got was a thinking partner that takes a pile of disconnected ideas and turns overwhelm into orientation, fast.
What's made this stick for me beyond the systems themselves is the underlying philosophy: AI enhances, it doesn't replace. I work with coaches and consultants helping them build agentic AI systems and the principle I keep coming back to is platform independence. Don't build for one tool. Build for portability. The approach Nick teaches puts your data, your structure, and your thinking inside a system you own so it travels with you regardless of which AI platform you're on next year. I've already started deploying this with a client engagement, building their AI operating system on the same principles before their full setup goes live. That's the future: not locked-in automation, but a portable intelligence layer you own.
@jodine - It's amazing to hear how helpful Linking your AI has been, not just in your personal systems in a tangible way, but also how the philosophy that Nick teaches has carried through into the work you do beyond your own practice. The point about platform independence is so central to this, and hearing that you are using it as a framework with your clients is the kind of ripple effect we hope for. Thank you for sharing this and for your support!
@cmrodriguez exactly! Impact at a personal level is great... but when you can carry that over to others, it is phenomenal!!
Ideaverse Pro
Thanks so much for the support, @jodine and I echo @cmrodriguez here!
So much of what you shared resonated with me, this section in particular:
Seriously, these AI companies are trying to build larger moats around their ecosystems by the day to make it harder to switch. Linking Your AI's approach really does allow for both experimentation and migration should you want to move onto another AI platform next month, next year, or whenever. On your terms.
I'm so glad Linking Your AI has had the impact it has for you, Jodine. Here's to doing your best work now that you've got such a reliable thinking partner at your side. 🙌

@jodine You're so right about platform independence. Thank you, Jodine!
@nickmilo I learned about your system recently, when you presented to the AMP team and I have to say it has been absolutely incredible. I immediately went and purchased the course. I have completed the course and it is such quality content, so informative, and I can't wait to see what I'm able to accomplish with it. Absolutely incredible!
Ideaverse Pro
@leah_brown4 it was so great connecting with you at the AMP event recently and I'm so thrilled you've jumped into Linking Your AI and it's been going so well! Seriously, I too can't wait to see where you take it from here. Between personalizing the existing skills and systems and creating your own with the skill-builder skill, the possibilities are endless! I hope to cross paths in the Summer Shares space in the LYAI community. 😃
Thanks for supporting this launch, Leah, and again, really pumped LYAI has been so supportive with your AI work! 🙌
@nickmilo I've just started the LYAI course. The philosophy of owning your AI, being platform independent, and considering security (from your AI!) all make sense to me -- more than the jump in with everything and hope for the best approach. The course is bringing me along at a good pace, but presuming very little. Nick is a great teacher!
Ideaverse Pro
@douglas_dover - so great to hear on all counts! We purposely wanted to run through step by step to ensure it meets everyone where they're at and so glad it's bringing you forward at just the right pace. I hope to hear more on how you personalize your system in the LYAI Summer Shares in the future!
Thanks for supporting the launch, Douglas!
I'm only 50% into the LYAI course and it's already changed the way I engage with AI. I have a set of new skills, I'm building new routines – and I've thought through how I want to integrate AI into my note-making & sense-making.
This level of intentionality is so rare in AI related content. For anything put out by @nickmilo and the LYT team, it's a recurring differentiator. All of their offerings go deep and wide, they're philosophical and immediately practical – a stunning and super helpful combination.
Applied to LYAI, this means: you get systems and skills that work out-of-the-box, and you get the background knowledge and confidence to customise AI to your needs. You truly get the fish and learn how to catch your own.
By the way, no need to use Obsidian. I've tried and tested those skills with Capacities and Craft, and they work beautifully with minimal adaptations.
Ideaverse Pro
@scratch_posts - thank you so much for sharing your experience so far! As you know, that level of intentionality is across everything in LYT and I'm so thrilled that it has resonated so much with our approach to AI.
I've been so excited following those using Notion as well as those leveraging skills in Capacities and Craft such as yourself. We pride ourselves on the LYT Workshop being tool-agnostic and are glad the LYAI can also work across not just most AI tools, but also many notemaking tools too. 🔥
Thanks again for supporting the launch, Sabine! So grateful for your continued presence in LYT.
@scratch_posts Echoing, @keatonkeaton I've been excitedly following your updates on how it's going using LYAI inside Capacities (as a Capacities user myself).
Building something that extends your thinking, not replaces it, in an age where so much AI content revolves around outsourcing your thinking, is key to a product that aligns with Nick & LYT's philosophy. Seeing you mention that in your comment and recognizing it so clearly means a lot. Thank you for being such a thoughtful presence in LYT!
LYAI is definitely one of the best systems in the world. I’ve been building my AI-assisted second brain for over three years, and this is the first time I’ve had one with real consistency.
Previously, I approached everything in small blocks—work cells that were highly functional on their own. But when I tried to see the bigger picture, it just didn’t work as well.
Nick and his team have created something remarkable, and LYAI has clearly helped me build a system that works both at the micro and macro levels. I was able to leverage much of my accumulated knowledge, and LYAI helped me structure it so I can continue using it in the present and into the future.
You don’t realize the power of a well-built second brain until you experience it—and once you do, there’s no going back.. I'm really impressed on how Nick and his team have created this
Ideaverse Pro
@javiro89 , seriously, thank you so much for this thoughtful share. I couldn't agree more about how it works both as a cohesive system that Nick's built out and has the flexibility of individual strong skills and systems that you can apply individually too. It genuinely feels like the best of both worlds, especially as you begin to personalize the existing ones further and create your own - that they continue to work in this larger ecosystem Linking Your AI has built out.
I really appreciate you supporting the launch, Javier, hope to cross paths in the LYAI Summer Shares to see more on how you're using it! 🔥
Ideaverse Pro
Hi everyone, Keaton here from the LYT Team! 👋
What I love about Linking Your AI is that early on, Nick is already sharing and showing skills and systems that are included and getting hands-on on how he uses them each regularly. You not only get a better understanding of when they might support your own workflows, but you begin to see how you might personalize the skill or system further or even ideas on creating some of your own! Do you have a favorite system? I'd love to hear about it! 😃
Another great part of Linking Your AI is that your assistant is built to grow and adapt with you and across AI tools. Models change, AI company privacy policies get revised, whatever the reason to move or even just experiment with other AI tools, you're easily able to with LYAI.
Finally, Linking Your AI meets you where you're at. We've had LYAI owners who were quite new to AI tools find Nick's step-by-step guidance exactly what they needed to connect their AI tool to the other important apps and tools in their daily lives–on their terms. For those who have already started building something similar on their own, many purchasers have found Nick's skills and systems very complementary to their own as they integrate some of Nick's structure into their process and use other parts for inspiration to build out more of their own skills in the future!
As always, it's been incredible seeing the response so far. 🙌
I'll be here today with Nick @nickmilo, Dan @jose_daniel_lardizabal, and Chris @cmrodriguez to help answer any questions you might have so ask away!
Thank you all for being here supporting this launch! Here we go!

@kellyb2104 Thank you so much for sharing something so personal here. The fact that a system built around thinking and knowledge management has been part of something as meaningful as working through long-term health challenges and finding your way back to creative projects is not lost on us, and it is heartwarming to hear about. Extremely grateful you named it and shared it with us. Wishing you continued momentum on all of it.

@kellyb2104 This is an amazing way to understand what's possible. Happy for you, Kelly!
@nickmilo @cmrodriguez Thanks for your kind replies, it is such a fantastic course/approach to using AI. I really hope that anyone who is interested, but feels like their lifestyle and goals for AI isn't the productivity 'norm', can see this and realise just how welcoming this course is and how many more things are possible than is normally talked about.
LYAI has helped me in more ways than I expected.
At the most practical level, it has helped me stay organized. But the bigger value has been in giving me a clear framework for thinking about AI, knowledge management, and repeatable workflows.
As a cybersecurity professional helping introduce AI into a corporate environment, I often work with users who are still trying to understand where tools like OpenAI, Anthropic, Obsidian, and personal knowledge systems fit into their day-to-day work. LYAI has given me language and structure I can actually use with them. It takes the base concept and makes it applicable, not just for personal organization, but for real professional use cases.
I was originally introduced to Obsidian, and Linking Your Thinking expanded what I could do with it dramatically. I have been prompt engineering since 2023, but outside of isolated project instructions in ChatGPT Business, I never had a clean or consistent place to keep recurring prompts. I also did not quite know what to call them. LYAI gave those prompts a natural home in the middle layer of the system, which immediately made the whole workflow feel more intentional.
The built-in courier concept has also been especially helpful. I work across multiple vaults, or as I tend to think of them, multiple domains. That structure helps me move useful context where it belongs while keeping my primary knowledge bases relevant, organized, and properly isolated.
More broadly, LYT has changed the way I think about collecting, processing, and finalizing information. Like a lot of people working in research-heavy spaces, I deal with a constant flood of notes, drafts, references, ideas, and unfinished work. LYAI has helped me move from data overload into a system where my works in progress actually have somewhere to live and a path toward completion.
Thank you for all you do. Whether it is the innovation on the AI side, or simply giving clear terms and structure to systems I had already been loosely building across multiple LLMs, LYAI has helped me turn scattered workflows into something much more deliberate, useful, and sustainable.
@billy_koerner - Thanks so much for sharing your experience with LYT and LYAI so thoroughly!
I think this is such a great point about what's amazing about LYAI (and building out our PKM systems in general). Giving language and structure to things we are already intuitively doing allows them to have a place. Once they have a place, they have a path. Once there is a path, we can move along it in a specific direction. Watching that click into place for someone who's already been doing the work is exactly what we hope for!
Stoked to see LYAI (and LYT more generally) on Product Hunt. Let's Go!!! I loved LYAI - one of the most valuable things you all have put out thus far. With the crush of AI-adjacent courses and gurus and "systems" out there, it can be nearly impossible to find solid guidance on how to make use of AI tools in a way that makes sense.
pause for dramatic effect
UNTIL NOW.
Seriously, though - Nick, the whole LYT team, you all are some of the most steady, grounded & ethically minded people I've had the pleasure to encounter in the wild world of the Internet. I knew that whatever you would put out about AI would be well worth whatever you were charging for it. As a person who has been extensively experimenting with AI & PKM, to be frank, I thought the course would be interesting but not necessarily applicable to me. I was (happily) wrong! True to form, you've delivered on providing rock solid guidance in a world that can feel frightfully difficult to navigate.
The Trident system is a masterstroke, and I've adopted my own version into my larger system. The sherpa and rock tumbler are invaluable, and I'd not have come to those on my own...you've really helped me to upgrade my system - and that's worth its weight in gold!
Homerun.

SO great to see you here,@eric_grey1!
This means the world, Eric. So appreciate hearing how helpful it's been for you and I know this resonates with others as well. Whether you're new to connecting AI tools or have been building some parts out on your own, Linking Your AI can meet everyone where they are at.
I couldn't agree more on the skills and systems being so helpful AND great inspiration as we continue to personalize and even build out our own in the future too! 🔥
