LineageLens is an open-source provenance layer that acts as a "git blame" for AI-generated code.
While traditional version control only records the human committer, LineageLens intercepts API traffic at the network layer to capture the exact prompt, AI model, and surrounding context that originally wrote the code. By natively parsing agent tool calls , it gives engineering and security teams a complete, searchable audit trail of every AI contribution in their codebase.
