What sets Life Bot apart from Alexa's existing (native) skill set? For example, why set a reminder to buy dog food when you can actually just order the dog food on Amazon using your voice?
@badhairday hey Michael - thanks for your comment. The current Alexa reminders only go off on the Echo device. With Life Bot you can say "Alexa, ask life bot to send me a reminder to pick up the laundry" and you can schedule it for any time and date in the future, and Life Bot will text it to your phone at the right time. The idea is that you're not always near an Alexa device so we've linked your Alexa Life Bot app to your phone.
@robert_melkonyan Hey Robert - unfortunately right now we have to keep it to Life Bot as you can't change an Alexa skill invocation name once it's certified. I'm sure they'll be ways of doing that though in the future though!
