👋 Hey Product Hunters! I'm Sagiv, the CEO & Founder of liblab.
liblab generates SDKs and documentation for your APIs in seconds 🚀
Two years ago I left Amazon, where I managed all the AWS SDKs org, the most popular SDKs in the world. There, I experienced the challenge of building and maintaining good client libraries.
Companies with APIs know the struggle. They want top-notch SDKs that boost their developers’ productivity and drive API adoption. But they don’t have the knowledge or time to build it. It can take months to build the right SDK in each language and even harder to keep it up-to-date with each API change.
liblab solves that problem.
How does it work?
✅ Bring your API spec (OpenAPI, Swagger, Postman), and you're done in less than a minute.
✅ liblab auto-generates SDKs from that API spec and can publish the SDKs to different package managers for you (npm, maven, PyPi etc..).
✅ We also auto-generate documentation portals, so your developers always have their API, SDKs, and documentation in sync.

@sagivo
Great, even revolutionary product! Automatic SDK generation based on API specification is a good and useful solution! ⚡️

@sagivo looks great! I always struggle with anything outside of PHP so would love to give it a try as I need SDK in Python and C#. Good luck!
@sagivo@ena_gluhakovic liblab is CLI based, so can be integrated into your CI/CD pipelines. You can then trigger a new SDK generation whenever your API changes. liblab can then raise a PR against your SDK repo with the updates, and you can then review, merge, and release. For example, here's documentation on how to set this up with GitHub Actions: https://developers.liblab.com/tu...
@sagivo as someone who did a bunch of dev evangelism over the years, definitely see this is a useful tool for companies. Curious if you plan on integrating with API documentation tools or rolling your own? More thoughts:

Signed up, product looks amazing, and super useful as someone who had to build and maintain multiple SDKs in the past. Well done. Are you hiring engineers? Would love to apply.
@ge_gao Yes! The ability to pretty much instantly create or update an SDK when you release a new API or update an existing one is powerful. SDKs improve the developer experience for your users, and they want the latest API updates in your SDKs as soon as the API is released. liblab makes that happen.

This is insane, and I literally need it so bad right now. How do I get the PH special? Is there a code?
Really cool idea! As someone who built over 8+ SDKs for my product I can totally understand the pain your product solves. Would love to see some examples, maybe even dogfooding on your own APIs.
Good luck today 🚀
