I was using Qantas.com to search for flights, and the search results took 21 seconds to come back. For a company that big, I thought there's no way they realise that's happening.

Today is stage one of my vision for a future of true web performance observability. I've started with a tracker for WebPageTest data, so you can easily track improvements over time (it's a great feeling seeing that LCP drop after a deployment).

Soon I'll release "user flow" detection and bottleneck identification, as well as AI-powered JavaScript and network analysis. Eventually, performance regression detection will be right in your pull request.

Existing analytics solutions keep their pricing intentionally vague - only after implementation does actual size of the bill become clear. From there the price just keeps growing until inevitably engineering starts wondering if they could just build it themselves.

I'm making the dev-focused alternative, giving a clear view of the user experience down to the exact page and button, without the legacy enterprise pricing.

My website has been loading pretty slowly, will definitely have to take a look at this.
