LaunchReel is a Claude Code plugin that makes your videos: launch films and demos for your real product, written as code from your repo, and talking-head reels cut from your raw recordings. Claude does the work; LaunchReel adds a director's playbook, original music, voiceover and a studio to edit it yourself. Export 16:9 or 9:16, up to 4K.
I like that there is still a studio to make your own edits instead of having to accept everything exactly as generated. That gives you a bit more control over the final result.
@tom_nick1 yep i understand that claude wont be always great so i gave a studio and fun fact u can comment on frames and claude will edit it u still can be lazy and do your own thing till it does btw hope you try the product.
Pinning the fix to one frame is the part I like. A client signs off on a version, not on a render, so the second pass is where you lose them. Does anything outside the pin move?
@justin_rockmore whatever you pin and ask to fix gets fixed rest says as it is. nothing changes without being asked for.
Hey @gajanansr , congrats! To answer your question, the video I keep putting off is a shorter demo. Mine is almost 4 minutes and already outdated because we shipped new features after I recorded it. I need a 60 to 90 second one before my launch in two weeks.
Can LaunchReel cut down a long recording I already have, or is it better to start fresh from the repo?
@srinivasareddy It can do both but I would suggest you to start fresh.

Turning a product repo into an actual launch video is an interesting approach. It could save a lot of time for people who don't want to start every video from scratch.
@zeeshan_aslam2 hope you try that once, also u can edit your talking head videos better with this.
