Sarmad Qadri
Hey Product Hunt community! I’m Sarmad, co-founder & CEO of LastMile AI. Our team spent years building developer tools for ML engineers and data scientists at Facebook, Airbnb and Microsoft. We have taken those learnings to build LastMile — a platform for developers to create apps and workflows that leverage generative AI. We are so excited to share it with you today. Here’s what you can expect when you sign up for LastMile AI for free: ✨ Beautiful Notebook-Inspired Interface: Prototype your AI app in an AI Workbook - a notebook-like environment designed for working with generative AI models. Workbooks make it easy to iterate on prompts, compare models, and create templates for others to use. 🚀 Access to Generative AI Models: A one-stop shop to build with generative AI models across text, image, and audio modalities. Access models from OpenAI (GPT-4, ChatGPT, DALL-E, Whisper), Google (PaLM), open-source providers (Stable Diffusion, Bark), and Hugging Face! 📚 Customization with Your Data: Customize your AI apps by connecting LLMs to your specific knowledge sets and data. We support PDFs and text files (.txt, .csv, HTML) so you can leverage AI models on specific contexts. ⚙️ Scale and Evaluate your AI Apps: Scale your AI apps with AI Workflows - a batch execution service designed to run AI templates with your data. Workflows allow you to test your AI apps against your own data, evaluate performance, and automate your AI app for production. Build a translation pipeline to generate 50 different languages, run the same prompt across 5 different models, or create 500 images with slight variations. 💻 Prompt Management: Store the critical components of your workbook - prompts and model settings - in a config with a standardized format to simplify versioning and management. Download the config from your workbook to transition from prototype to code seamlessly. 🔗 Sharing and Collaboration: Share your workbooks with others, and clone other workbooks easily. Commenting and review features help you collaborate and build your AI apps and workflows as a team. 🌐 Community for Inspiration: Join our community on Discord! Draw inspiration from the workbooks and workflows made by our community and build off these to create your own. We are more than just a platform for sharing work—it's a space where AI enthusiasts can inspire and learn from each other. LastMile is free to get started and we're offering a 30-day free trial for our growth tier exclusively to Product Hunt supporters. Sign up in the next 48 hours with promo code LASTMILEPH to run workflows with larger datasets and exercise higher consumption limits! Want to learn more about LastMile AI? - Check out our demo!

Nikhil Sharma
@saqadri congratulations 👏
Constantin Wintoniak
@saqadri Major kudos, this will be big. I just forwarded this to my team... the "bring-your-own-model" flow you mentioned in another comment would be the biggest USP in my point of view. Keep it up!!!
Sarmad Qadri
@wintoniak thanks so much! Please let us know what your team thinks and keep the feedback coming!
Gabe Moronta
@saqadri on the launch, so many useful tools debuting. I know yours will be so worth it.
Alexander Ptitsyn
Good morning, Sarmad! I'm so happy, that I can use LastMile kike a new AI tool. Thank you!
Andrew Hoh
Hello! I'm Andrew, co-founder & CPO at LastMile AI. We're really excited to share LastMile AI with the PH community. Excited to hear your thoughts and feedback!
Suyog Sonwalkar
Hi everyone! I'm Suyog, cofounder & CTO at LastMile AI. Excited to share Lastmile with Product Hunt and also get feedback on how we can improve the product or our SDK.
Imran
@suyogsonwalkar Love that you guys are focusing on changing the UI layer of how we interact with AI models and not just working on the sdk - the workbooks and workflow are genius, it makes it easy to play around and collaborate!
Suyog Sonwalkar
@imranqq Thanks Imran! We think that workbooks, workflows, and the SDK are all complimentary - using one should make it easy to use the others when you need to. The UI for workbooks took our experience working on Jupyter notebooks and adapted it for AI models.
Kevin William David
Congrats on the launch today. The ability to access different models, prototype and iterate quickly with your team from one playground will help move faster while building apps. Look forward to trying it out soon.
Andrew Hoh
@kevin Thank you Kevin! We truly appreciate all of your support! We love building great products for amazing people and we hope to continue to build delightful products for the broader product community.
André J
Could this be used to tweak settings in dalle3 and get custom outputs? Im 🤔 about creating a generative news paper and need illustrations etc.
Tanya Rai
@sentry_co Dalle-3 is currently not supported in the OpenAI API - when it is we will be able to support it :) You can, however, use Dalle-2 and Stable Diffusion with AI workbooks!
André J
@tanyarai I tried Dalle3. Damn it's good. But cant customise anything yet. Will be interesting when you add it!
Tanya Rai
@sentry_co YES! We're also soo excited to add it as well. It would be so cool to parametrize Dalle3 prompts and create mini templates.
Lindsay Richman
This looks great, thank you! Is there a way to test prompts? I am currently using promptfoo, but it would be great to have a single application where I could both manage and test my prompts
Andrew Hoh
@lindsay_richman That's exactly our thinking as well! The prompts, the models, and the parameters all go hand-in-hand, so we've made it easier by bringing them closer together!
Lindsay Richman
@andrewhoh So is prompt testing something I can do now, or is this something that's planned for a future release?
Andrew Hoh
@lindsay_richman In addition, we have a way to run a workflow run that can test many different prompts to prevent any regressions from your improvements. Check out this example workbook for creating translations, then evaluating the translations. Finally, at the top, you can run it as a workflow run against a CSV file to do a bulk evaluation run for testing. https://lastmileai.dev/workbooks...
Andrew Hoh
@lindsay_richman it’s available right now! You can use a workbook, then create a CSV of tests and execute them as a workflow for testing!
Lindsay Richman
@andrewhoh thank you so much!! I will share this with our team
Balthier Wings
This looks pretty cool - I've been using Stable Diffusion locally with automatic1111, but I can use it here and share it with others super easily. Are there specific notebooks that help with making better images?
Zakaria Assoul
@balthier_wings Yeah, take a look at this workbook https://lastmileai.dev/workbooks... which uses GPT4 to generate a high fidelity prompt for stable diffusion. Also, check out our use-case section on the website for more inspiration https://lastmileai.dev/usecases
Sarmad Qadri
@balthier_wings thanks for the feedback! Zak shared some good examples — please keep the feedback coming and also some of your favorite features of automatic1111 that you’d love for us to support.
Balthier Wings
@zakaria_assoul1 Thanks Zakaria. That workbook with GPT4 is pretty nice - think I can use that for better prompts. I was wondering, do you support models from civitai or loras with Stable Diffusion? What about controlnet? I've found that they work much better for producing the images I want, at times better than what I can make with Dalle3 too.
Zakaria Assoul
@balthier_wings We don't currently host fine-tuned SD models from civit, but we do support all models hosted on hugging face. So you can use any fine-tuned SD model that's already on Hugging face within your workbook.
Balthier Wings
@zakaria_assoul1 Oh I didn't realize that I can use huggingface models. I'll need to find if the models I want are there since I mostly find my models on civitai. Is there an example of using huggingface models or some docs?
