LangCapture helps bilingual software engineers turn useful phrases from GitHub, Slack, Jira, docs, and email into a searchable sentence library. Highlight any sentence with the Chrome extension, save it with an accurate native-language translation, and generate TTS audio whenever you want to practice. Sensitive company names, repo names, links, tickets, emails, and secrets are automatically redacted before saving. Free plan included.

honestly the auto-redaction sounds super useful since most tools don't handle that well. one thing that would make this a daily driver for me is letting me tag sentences by the actual codebase context they came from, like "error handling" or "code review feedback", so when I'm prepping for a meeting I can pull up only the phrases relevant to that topic. basically turn the library into something more searchable than just chronological.
The auto-redaction feature is genuinely thoughtful. Caught a repo name and a Jira ticket link in my test highlight without me having to think about it, which is usually the annoying part of saving work snippets.
A neat tool for bilingual devs. One thing I'd love to see is the ability to tag saved sentences by tech stack or domain like frontend, databases, or incident response so I can build focused decks when I'm prepping for specific projects or interviews.
