Lakvid

AI roleplay simulator for difficult conversations.

Unlike generic chatbots, Lakvid is a specialized "Flight Simulator" for difficult conversations built on the Non-Violent Communication (NVC) framework. It features a unique 3-agent system (Actor, Coach, Analyst) to simulate realistic emotional responses and provide structured feedback. Powered by the latest Gemini Flash for real-time latency, it offers a private, safe space to practice salary negotiations and relationship conflicts before they happen.

Hey everyone! I’m the maker behind Lakvid.

Let’s be honest: Difficult conversations suck. Whether it’s asking for a raise, breaking up, or confronting a toxic colleague, most of us (myself included) tend to either freeze up or get defensive when the pressure is on.

I built Lakvid to solve my own problem. I wanted a "Flight Simulator" for social interactions—a place where I could practice, make mistakes, and say the wrong thing without real-world consequences.

How it works: The Simulation: It uses the Gemini 2.5 Flash model to roleplay realistic personas (like a stubborn boss or a hurt partner). The Coaching: Unlike generic chatbots, it analyzes your inputs using Non-Violent Communication (NVC) principles and gives you real-time feedback on your empathy and assertiveness.

Tech Stack for the curious: Built with React 19, TypeScript, and Supabase.

I’d love your feedback: It’s free to try (1 scenario/day). I’m specifically looking for feedback on:

Does the AI "opponent" feel realistic enough?

Is the coaching advice actually helpful?

Thanks for checking it out!
