Kyva App - Read Gita & Upanishads
Hey everyone, I'm the maker of Kyva, and I'm so excited (and terrified!) to be launching here today. For years, I wanted to read foundational texts like the Bhagavad Gita, but every time I tried, I hit a wall. The language felt archaic, the pdfs & books were cluttered and I'd lose focus after five minutes. It felt like the wisdom was locked away. Kyva is the app I wish I had. I built it with two core principles: Be Distraction-Free: The swipeable card UI forces you to focus on one verse at a time. No clutter, no noise. Be Accessible: Every verse is paired with a simple, modern explanation... like a knowledgeable friend explaining it to you, not a dense scholarly commentary. It started with the Gita and has grown to include the Upanishads and Yoga Sutras. It's a solo project built during late nights after my day job. I'm here today because I genuinely need your feedback. Is the UI intuitive? Is the "friend-like" explanation helpful? What other texts should we add to the library? It's 100% free and has no ads. I'm just excited to share something I poured my heart into. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
