Originally started as a higher ed engagement product pivoted to Knitted. A B2B Industry Agnostic Community Platform. Super quick and easy to set up, build and invite people on to the platform. Also can create so many different types of communities with predefined templates. Feels differentiated as it is focused on IRL communities versus customer communities or influencer communities. Less competitive and cheaper alternative to social media management and marketing and provides much deeper levels of analytics and engagement that just emailing. Building community on social media is like like deep sea fishing with a toy fishing rod-compared to Knitted where each community gets their own pond to build, grow and manage with no ads, no data tracking, less competition and more control. Building more templates, transactions and custom categories/roles now-will be in product soon!

Not just for work - I created one for a group of friends to schedule monthly meet ups and activities! Extremely useful tool to connect with larger groups!

congrats on the launch. the focus on real-life communities is intriguing. with your emphasis on simplified community creation, what has been some of the most unique or unexpected types of communities that have formed using knitted?
Cooper Jones
@mashy Thanks Albert! It has been super interesting to see all of the different types of communities come aboard but as far as interesting goes I'd have to say a zoo, an astronomical society or an elderly care facility. Whats more interesting is that they all seem to be using the product in a similar way and consistently.

Really helpful tool, especially with remote employees - been using it to bring everyone in our office together in one place that isn't Slack. People all seem to really like it so far on our side!

Let’s get off social and build some IRL connections!
