You saved that TikTok recipe last month. Good luck finding it now. And when you do — no measurements, no cook time, just "season to taste." Kitcha fixes that. Import recipes social media or browse our collection of 10,000+ ready-to-cook recipes. We clean them up into proper recipes with full ingredients, steps, and timings. Then organize everything into cookbooks, plan your week, and generate grocery lists sorted by aisle. No more scrambling at the store.

I built Kitcha because I got tired of the runaround.
You find a recipe on TikTok — no audio. Instagram — no caption. Pinterest — "link in bio." So you dig through their blog, dodge 47 ads, and maybe find the actual recipe buried somewhere on the page. I tried every app out there and none of them could reliably extract the recipe across all these sources.
So I built an importer that actually works. Paste a link from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, any website — or just take a screenshot. Kitcha pulls out the full recipe with proper ingredients, steps, and timings, even when the original post is missing half of it.
But importing was only half the problem. Every week my partner and I would go through the same exhausting cycle — find recipes, figure out what's accurate, decide who's eating what and when, build a grocery list from scratch, then get to the store and forget half of it. The whole process easily eats 10+ hours a week when you add it all up. It's genuinely fatiguing.
So Kitcha handles the full pipeline. Save recipes, drag them onto a weekly meal plan (or have it made automatically), and auto-generate a grocery list sorted by aisle. Share cookbooks with your partner so you're both on the same page.
Then came pantry matching — enter what you have on hand and Kitcha surfaces recipes you can actually make right now. That one changed everything for me personally.
The whole thing is solo built. Just me, trying to solve my own frustrations and hopefully yours too.
