We founded Level III Capital in 2021. A quantitative, systematic crypto hedge fund. Everything was built in-house. Observability, backtesting, automated trade execution, and optimization. It took an entire year.
LLMs were a breakthrough we took note of. In 2023, we began incorporating it into our workflows where we could, but it was extremely limited. Even during summer of last year, most LLM providers could not perform basic calculations that are rooted in precision and without hallucination. We wanted something we could connect an institutional portfolio managing $35,000,000, and reason through reliably.
Today, that is Kimpton AI. We give intense focus on precision of asset data, code execution, and structured output to give market participants peace of mind when performing market research.
