Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Umair, and I'm building Kif from Lahore.
Recruiters spend about 7 seconds on a CV before deciding. Most of us never find out what they saw in those 7 seconds. We just get "we've decided to move forward with other candidates."
So I built an AI recruiter that tells you. Upload your CV and it:
• stamps it Shortlisted, Maybe or Rejected
• tells you what it noticed in the first 7 seconds
• writes the rejection email you'd get, with the real reasons those emails never mention
• gives you 3 rewrites of your weakest lines, ready to paste back in
A few things I cared about:
→ The score isn't an AI guess. It's computed by fixed rules from your CV's evidence (measurable results, ownership, skills actually shown in your work, timeline, clichés), so the same CV always gets the same score.
→ The rewrites never invent your numbers. Anything it can't know is left as a [placeholder] for you to fill in.
→ It roasts the CV, never you: nothing about your name, gender, religion, nationality, university or gaps.
→ Your CV isn't stored. Contact details are stripped before the AI reads it.
Pick Honest, Savage or Brutal 💀, and English or Desi (Roman Urdu/Hindi banter, for the South Asian devs here).
Under the hood, Kif is a two-way talent network for software and AI people: once your CV is fixed, it can turn it into a profile and match you with roles in both directions, with contact details shared only when both sides say yes.
What I'd love from you: roast your CV and tell me where the AI recruiter got it wrong. Was a line unfair, or a rewrite off? I'm tuning it on real feedback this week.
