For most of us, the screen-time advice we got as parents came down to one rule: less of it. Meanwhile, researchers and pediatric organizations have spent years studying what children watch and what helps or harms them at each age. Earlier this year the American Academy of Pediatrics moved its guidance away from fixed time limits and toward what kids watch and how.

That research is strong enough to help parents make better choices, but nobody had turned it into something a parent can use. So we built KidSight to put it to work.

KidSight is a curated library of YouTube videos for kids. Tell us your kid's age and what they're working on right now, like getting ready for school or big feelings, and you get a library sorted into shelves for those goals, with every video fit for their age and checked for safety.

Every video carries a scorecard: what's inside, what it teaches versus only mentions, and anything worth knowing before you press play. We built our standard from child-development research. KidSight AI applies it to every video, reading the actual footage and audio, not the title or someone's review.

If your kid wants something that isn't in the library, paste the YouTube link and you get a scorecard for it.

Three things would help us most today:
1. If you're a parent, sign up for a KidSight account and tell us whether the videos we recommend for your kid are ones you'd agree with.
2. Tell us a goal you'd want a shelf for that we don't have yet.
3. If you don't have kids, send KidSight to one parent you know who's tired of hearing "less screen time" as the only advice.
