The official schedule shows departure times — not arrival times. Not transfer times. This app does. • Route planning with transfers — exact times for every leg • Full schedules for every station, weekday & weekend • Interactive metro map — tap any station, plan routes • Ukrainian & English • Zero ads. Ever. This is a product decision. No other Kharkiv metro app has an interactive map. Most of them have ads.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
This app started because I was tired of doing mental math on metro platforms. The official Kharkiv schedule shows departure times — not arrival times. Not transfer times. Nothing useful for planning.
I'm a test engineer, not a mobile dev by trade. I used Claude AI throughout — but I want to be honest about what that means: I made every architectural decision, every product call. Claude accelerated the execution. The difference between browser AI and Claude CLI was massive — like switching from Notepad to an IDE.
The hardest lesson: AI introduces regressions, especially after large refactorings. I learned to make granular, precise changes and write tests. That discipline made the final product much more solid.
Most meaningful moment: the app had a static map — my sister looked at it and said, "It looks old-fashioned." I resisted for weeks. Rebuilt it as an interactive map. It's now the feature I'm most proud of.
The app is free. No ads. For a city 40 km from the front line, where people ride the metro every day.
Happy to answer any questions about the build, the AI workflow, or the React Native / Expo architecture.
