Fish passively, discover rare creatures, unlock new biomes, enjoy dynamic weather, and customize your ambient desktop world over time. It even includes optional wallpaper integration to make the islands blend naturally into your workspace.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 We’re a team of two and have spent the last few years building Kernelbay — an experiment around the idea of a game that behaves more like an ambient desktop presence than a traditional fullscreen experience. We wanted something calming that could peacefully exist alongside normal computer use instead of constantly demanding focus. One of the biggest challenges was making the desktop integration feel natural: transparency, wallpaper blending, lightweight runtime behavior, and keeping the experience visually relaxing without becoming distracting.
