Obsessing over the details of what is essential security and how can we deliver that without unnecessary bells & whistles to tell you whats happening at your door. 2. A ton of engineering work on power management that allows us to last over a year on simple AA batteries!

Doorbells unfortunately don't really deter package theft, and even if you caught it on video, police has no time for it. It mostly gives you a face to be angry at.

How weather resistant is it? Given the torrid rains here in Singapore and that rainy days can last for consecutive days and nights at a time, how well will the doorbell fair under such conditions? I'm really tempted to get one as my doorbell outside is always damaged in such short periods of time.
