Hi I'm Yori, the creator of JuxtaCode. As a solo dev, I'm interested in improving the developer experience for all makers. JuxtaCode aims to be the one tool you turn to for: 🌿 comparing branches, 🧐 inspecting a file's history, ✅ resolving merge conflicts. There are other tools in this space, but I wanted something that integrates tightly with Git so that you don't need to drive it from the command line or another tool. Although you can if you want! Instead you just open your repository in JuxtaCode and get to work. Plus, there's no subscription required. Product Hunters also get 15% off with the code PH15OFF at checkout. I'm especially keen to hear what features you'd like to see added. What would help to improve the way you compare and merge code?

I was excited to give it a try, after seeing the iOSDevWeekly 2024-02-17 writeup. Came here to upvote but requiring macOS 14 or later rules JuxtaCode out for me for quite a while. If it's technically feasible, consider that wanting a fast native compare is something people with older Macs appreciate even more. I have my m1 Air currently on Ventura, with no great motivation to move up to Sonoma until forced by XCode. But, I also have a 27" iMac 2017 that's "stuck" on Monterey (12.7.2) to support some older drivers. I guess I'll have to stay on DeltaWalker.
