Other existing libraries and frameworks are too heavy and overcomplicated or less flexible and powerful. We came up with a fresh approach based on modern web-standards, nothing more, but under the very new angle. We believe that simple tasks should have simple solutions, but more advanced shouldn't face a friction or limitations from your toolset. So we built JSDA-Kit - the web-framework that fits everything - from the simple landings and personal portfolios, to products of any scale.
I'm pleased to present the results of a multi-year analysis of the state of the web platform and experience in web development.
I created my first commercial website in the 1990s, and ever since, I've been searching for tools and approaches that fit the overall picture. I've worked with everything from early CMSs to modern meta-frameworks, but I've constantly encountered obstacles in project development once a certain level of complexity has been reached. The same applies to the opposite situation - when creating a single HTML page requires installing hundreds of NMP packages.
I know many people feel more comfortable when all the decisions are already made for them and they don't have to bear any responsibility. But I also know that many feel constrained by the narrow boundaries they didn't set for themselves.
JSDA-Kit was once an experiment meant to show whether things could be done differently without reinventing the wheel. Is it possible to avoid the black boxes and opaque abstractions you have to wade through when you encounter something a little less standard?
And our answer is yes. It's possible.
