Applying for a job often feels like shouting into a void - you never really know if your resume fits, whether it'll pass the screening, or what they'll ask. JobsMaveli, Kerala's AI career platform, replaces that guesswork with a straight answer: it reads your resume against a real job and shows you exactly where you stand and what to fix, then helps you fix it. Built for every job seeker who deserves a fair shot - not just those who already know the hidden rules. Free to start.

Hey Product Hunt
A friend of mine applied to 120 jobs last year. Sharp engineer. He heard back from four.
Not because he wasn't good enough - because he was applying blind. No idea whether his resume actually fit the role, no idea what he kept doing wrong. And nobody ever tells you.
That quietly bothered me for months. The people who "crack" job hunting aren't always the most talented - they're the ones who somehow learned the hidden rules: how resumes get screened, what recruiters scan for, how to tailor for each role. Everyone else is just guessing, and guessing is exhausting.
I'm from Kerala, where thousands of brilliant graduates and Gulf-bound job seekers face exactly this every year - huge talent, zero feedback loop. So I started building JobsMaveli as Kerala's AI career platform: a place that hands those hidden rules to everyone. You give it a real job and your resume, and instead of guessing, you get a straight answer - where you stand, what's missing, and how to close the gap. No insider knowledge required.
It's rooted in Kerala, but the problem was never regional - it's anyone who's ever refreshed their inbox waiting for a reply that never came.
It's still early, and I'd genuinely love your honest take: what's the one thing that would make you trust a tool like this with your own job search?

honestly the resume vs job matching sounds super useful, one thing though would be adding a mock interview mode where it uses the actual job description to throw likely questions at you, basically a practice run before the real thing, that would tie the whole prep journey together nicely

@ceylansavcan Thanks alot, Ceylan!😊 That's actually one of the features we've built into JobsMaveli! Our AI Interview Prep uses the job description to generate role-specific interview questions, helping you practice for the exact position you're applying for. We're always refining it, so thanks for the great suggestion and support.

Love how it gives honest feedback instead of just sending your resume into the void. One idea from someone who's been job hunting in Kerala: add a Malayalam toggle for the AI suggestions and interface. A lot of folks here feel way more comfortable reading career tips in their first language, especially when learning what to fix on a resume. Would make it feel less intimidating for first-gen applicants too.

@grselfrzf Thanks so much, Gürsel! Really appreciate that. That is exactly the problem we wanted to solve.
I also love your Malayalam suggestion. Since we're building JobsMaveli specifically for Kerala, making AI feedback and career guidance available in Malayalam would definitely make the platform more approachable, especially for first-time job seekers. It's something we'll seriously explore. Thanks for taking the time to share the idea!
