How does the Mac app detect when Garmin exports a screenshot — does it watch a specific folder, or does it hook into Garmin Connect directly?

A native Windows build would be a huge plus since most Garmin Connect users I know are on PC, and the Mac-only limitation is the only thing stopping me from recommending this to my training group.
