Jet Browser packages WPE WebKit as a portable browser runtime for AI agents. Each container owns one isolated session and accepts ordered JSONL commands for navigation, native keyboard and pointer input, semantic DOM inspection, screenshots, and clean shutdown. It ships a deterministic offline smoke test, versioned tool declarations, and reproducible benchmark data without bundling a model, agent loop, or hosted control plane.

Most browser-agent stacks bundle the model, orchestration, and browser into one system. We built Jet Browser because the browser boundary should be replaceable and measurable on its own. It runs one WPE WebKit session per container, takes ordered JSONL commands, and returns semantic and visual evidence from the same session. The repository includes a one-command offline acceptance test and the raw benchmark method. On the published host, the pinned fixture reached verified-ready in 1.45 s with 189.6 MiB active memory. Those numbers are deliberately scoped: they do not claim public-site success, stealth, or model accuracy. Jet Browser is Apache-2.0 runtime infrastructure beneath whichever agent or model you choose. I would especially value feedback on missing browser operations and the next benchmark scenario we should add.

For Jet Browser, we made the acceptance check deliberately boring: a local fixture loads, JavaScript runs, native input reaches the page, semantic DOM agrees with what was typed, a fresh screenshot is captured, outbound browser networking stays off, and cleanup succeeds.
