So we clear our all our payments VISA/Mastercard which is instant most of the time, but in some cases the payment might be delayed if there are some additional checks your bank need to run before clearing the payment. Generally speaking we see over 99% of orders being delivered in the 15 minute to 1 hour window.

Safello QuickBuy

Founder Safello.com (https://safello.com) here, operating a cryptocurrency exchange since 2013 (no account required, 60 seconds). I want to point out that IWantToBuyBitcoin is claiming to have a fully EU licensed and regulated exchange. This is not true. They have licenses in Estonia: https://mtr.mkm.ee/juriidiline_i.... These you cannot passport to other European countries. As far as these licenses go, they can be bought off the shelf and hold very little protection to you as a user. By which I'm not saying that operationally anything is wrong, but let's compare apples to apples.

@frank_schuil Hey Frank, the comparative strength of licenses is not what I'm trying to discuss here, that obviously has a huge list of considerations from client protection, fund segregation, regulatory measures to limit client risk etc. However to claim that we're not fully EU licensed and regulated does not factually check out. We do have licenses in Estonia and Estonia is a part of the EU. Also, the main point of our product is the ability to buy crypto using credit card immediately, so it seems a bit misleading when you say that safello is no account required and 60 seconds, only fair to add also: no credit card option therefore no chargeback protection.

@kan_conrad_lee Hey Conrad, thanks for the support, and great questions. 1. We currently offer 4 different cryptocurrencies - BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH - and are looking to offer more in the near future. Our competitive advantage would be our speed of purchase, safety (I will elaborate in the next answer), and the user-friendliness of the whole user journey. Our product makes buying crypto as easy as possible. 2. First of all, our liquidity is currently backed by the EU licensed financial institution, Simplex, that provides fraud-free payment processing services. They also work with companies like Binance, Changelly, and other big crypto exchanges who all enjoy their complete fraud protection and chargeback coverage. That being said, all failed transactions are automatically refunded within 3 business days. Simplex has never been hacked, and we have never failed to refund a client when their transaction failed. Hope I have answered your questions :)

Nice work, really like the simplification of the purchasing process. More consumer friendly Crypto platforms like this will help to make the currency mainstream. How do your fees compare to other exchanges like Coinbase and Kraken?

Means a lot :) To answer you question: We charge a fixed 0.75% fee on top of the crypto base exchange rate + the credit card processing fee (depends on country of card and currency of card, our processor charges in USD so USD denominated cards would get the cheapest rates). What we found was that a lot of exchanges hide their fees inside the exchange rate - we don't do this. Instead, we show you exactly what we're charging as our service fee. You will be getting the direct market rate as provided by our liquidity providers (i.e. banks, exchanges, crypto fund).

@johnathanz Thanks for the support, Johnathan! Good question. So unlike other exchanges (like Kraken), we don't let you sell your crypto back to us, we only let you buy (you must also have your own crypto wallet). And we've simplified the whole buying process, such that buying only takes 10 minutes - from creating an account to checking out. We also let you just use credit/debit card to purchase, where other exchanges might make you deposit via bank wire. Hope that answers your question!
