Iteratively is a smart tracking plan for smart companies. The best teams use data to inform their decisions. The problem is that most organizations don't trust the data that they're capturing. Data integrity issues lead to teams losing confidence and ultimately, poor decision making.

As an early adopter, I've been very impressed with Iteratively. The tool fills an essential gap in the modern data stack as the bridge between the data team (me), the product management team, and the developers instrumenting events. The fact that a PM on our team is able to completely restructure our tracking plan (after an audit) in a branch and enforce that in our app code via CI is incredible.
It's worth noting that from day one the web app UX and SDK functionality have both been watertight - impressive stuff. The team have also been very helpful and I've found their blog content helpful for internal discussions on how to manage our tracking plan.
Absolutely love this product and hope to see it receive wide adoption.
Thanks so much @dan_hunt3. The whole team here at Iteratively puts a lot of effort into making sure the product works well and feels good for everyone using it.
We're so excited that our vision for what analtics could be is proving itself at BibliU. We're always looking for ways to improve the functionality - there are some really exciting things in the pipeline, so keep your eyes peeled for those over the next couple of months π
@dan_hunt3 wow π thank you!!! The collaboration between data and product teams is so important but is lacking in so many companies out there. We hope to change that with Iteratively. So excited we're able to help you out at BibliU!!
@dan_hunt3 It's been great working with you and the team at BibliU!

This is such a necessary for great product teams. Getting good, structured data is foundational to iterations and better understanding your customers. Nice work Iteratively!
First off, really excited to have @kevin hunt us, thanks so much!
Hey Product Hunt π Iβm Patrick, the Co-founder of Iteratively. Weβre on a mission to help product, growth and data teams capture high-quality data they can trust.
My Co-founder @ondrej421 and I spent six months doing extensive customer research, interviewing over 400 product managers, data teams and engineers. We found the number one pain point was bad data. Having experienced this pain ourselves at Atlassian and Microsoft, we finally heard enough and knew there must be a better way.
β¦enter Iteratively π At our core, weβre a schema registry for your analytics. Our product consists of an intuitive web app for product managers and analysts to create and evolve their analytics tracking plan (schema) and developer tooling for engineers to quickly and easily instrument the tracking. Always in sync, teams can work cross functionally to ensure event tracking is implemented accurately and according to spec, so data consumers have high quality data to work with. And whatβs more, we integrate seamlessly with companiesβ existing data stack, SDLC and processes.
A few product highlights:
π Build back confidence in your data
We take a quality-first approach to analytics tracking with a schematized tracking plan, type-safe SDKs, unit testing and integrations with CI. With Iteratively you get high quality data thatβs ready to be consumed, no munging required.
π Make data a team sport
Iteratively is architected from the ground up to support collaboration. With an intuitive web app and best-in-class developer tooling we bring product managers, analysts and developers together to conquer and evolve their analytics tracking.
π Never compromise data privacy
We ensure you stay compliant by blocking PII data from leaking to your analytics providers and give you control through thorough review and approval workflows for optimal oversight and data governance.
Having early customers meant we could iterate quickly, ship fast (early π ) and get rapid feedback on what we were building. A special thanks to the teams at Box, Artifact Uprising, Beekeeper, Dribbble, Octopus and many more for bearing with us since the early days π«
β¨We just launched a free tier of our product so you can sign up today and check out the product for yourself. As founders we still work with all our users so we look forward to meeting you!
π Your feedback means the world to us so please comment and let us know what you think π
@kevin@ondrej421@patrickt010 Really love Iteratively-- it's made a big difference to the level of scrutiny we apply to our tracking, and that's meant that all of our data is more reliable (and accessible) which means we use it more, and end up building a better product more quickly! They have a free plan so every startup should be using this for setting up their tracking.
Folks, what advice would you give to startups early in their tracking and analytics journey?
@kevin@ondrej421@patrickt010 How were your customers solving this problem before? I'm a bit of a SQL junky, so it seems using dbt to model away these issues is pretty simple. I'm curious why that might not have worked for others.
@mike_seekwell Hey Mike, great question! We're huge fans of dbt and are actually working on a dbt package at the moment as many of our customers use dbt. Using SQL to munge the data is the only solution many data teams have today, assuming you're getting data to start with which is often not the case. However, this doesn't prevent changes upstream from occurring which cause headaches farther down the pipeline. Similar to dbt tests, we're making it easy to assert that your analytics are firing correctly as part of your engineering teams existing test suite so that you don't have to worry about unexpected changes breaking analytics.
Great product, great team that solves a really painful point for data-driven teams. At Strapi, we tried Iteratively and even if we didn't implement it yet, we are going to do it as soon as possible. Coupled with Amplitude, it works like a charm, it would help us to keep the event schema synchronized, share event description across our tools, filter unwanted events and avoid event deletion when releasing a new version.
Keep going the good work Patrick & Ondrej!
Iβve spoken with a few folks on the Iteratively team - have always come away impressed by how cleverly theyβre tackling a very real pain point in analytics. Excited to watch them grow!
Iteratively is awesome! So many teams struggle with data quality and Iteratively is a great solution to this problem. At Mixpanel, we're excited to work with Iteratively to help our customers keep their data clean and trustworthy
