Backstory: I switched from Linux/KDE to Mac years ago and never stopped missing one specific thing: Dolphin's embedded terminal that follows your navigation. Click a folder, the shell's already there. I used Path Finder for years but finally couldn't really take it anymore, so I built it myself.
Iruka's core: a synced terminal pane, plus rendered previews (Markdown, CSV, syntax highlighting), inline editing, one-click SSH/SCP, Git status per-folder, and cloud mounts --> all native Swift, no Electron.
I'm an academic by day (not a full-time indie dev), so this was built in evenings, and the roadmap is driven almost entirely by user requests on GitHub Discussions. Several shipped features started as comments just like the ones I'm hoping to get here today.
