Invoko is an AI desktop helper you can talk to while you work. Bring it beside anything on your screen, ask it questions, or let it handle tasks across your apps.

For developers and power users who want to extend Invoko's capabilities is there an API or plugin layer planned that would let people define custom tasks or connect it to tools that aren't supported out of the box?
Clico
@ding_hao Nahh we don't provide API at the moment. But letting ppl define their own widgets might be a good idea!
talking to it while you work is the right interaction model for a desktop helper but voice input in an office environment creates obvious friction. curious whether there's a text input option alongside voice and whether the always-listening model requires a wake word or a push-to-talk approach. those aren't minor details for a tool meant to be used continuously throughout a workday

Congrats on the launch team 🎉
Curious, when Invoko is operating across apps, does it need any permissions setup or does it just work out of the box on Mac?
Clico
@boyuan_deng1 Hey Boyuan, good question! Actually you'll need to give Invoko permission to connect to your daily working apps due to privacy protection, but that's basically all it need! Super convenient and handy after that
does Invoko support multiple work profiles or contexts for people who manage personal and professional accounts separately?
Clico
@emily_carter18 Currently we only support single session, which is the one that you use locally, but multiple profiles would definitely something we'll be diving into in the future
how does the agent maintain awareness of what I am currently working on without becoming intrusive?
Clico
@joshua_martinez7 We mainly use the current focus of you computer to get a hint of what you are working on rn, combined with multiple other context sources to ensure high accuracy
I am curious about email management. can Invoko distinguish between high priority emails and messages that can safely wait?
Clico
@daniel_harris11 Emails are always a pain in the ass cuz there're just too many! Currently we mainly use pure model capabilities to determine whether the email is of high priority or not, but we are looking for a more solid solution for that ofc. Stay tuned!
how does the agent handle situations where multiple apps are requesting attention at the same time?
Clico
@luz_bidelspach It can handle tasks in parallel so that wouldn't be a problem at all haha
