Invoice Now is a lightweight invoice builder for freelancers, consultants, and small businesses who value privacy. Everything runs entirely in your browser, so your client details, invoices, and branding never leave your device. No sign-up, no cloud storage, and no tracking. Just create professional invoices and export them as PDF or PNG in a few clicks.
Love the privacy-first approach, that's a big deal for me. One thing that would make it even better is letting us save invoice drafts locally as JSON files so we can come back and edit them later without losing work. Would also help keep a basic history across browser sessions.
@barztalnnug Thanks! Glad the privacy-first approach resonates with you. We actually support part of this already. Your invoice data is continuously saved in your browser's local storage, so if you close the browser and come back later on the same device and browser, your work will still be there. That said, the ability to explicitly save and load drafts as JSON files is a great suggestion. It would make backups and moving drafts between devices much easier.
honestly this is a really clean approach and i kind of love that nothing leaves the browser. one thing that would actually seal the deal for me though is letting us save drafts locally so you can come back to an unfinished invoice the next day without having to start over from scratch. just a simple local storage option would do it.

Honestly love that nothing leaves my browser, super reassuring for client data. Exported a PDF and it looked clean and pro, basically ready to send right away.

Loved that nothing needs an account and it just works offline. Exported a PDF in under a minute, clean layout with no fuss.

the privacy first approach is honestly really refreshing, not many invoice tools offer this. one thing i'd love to see is a simple recurring invoice feature so i can just set it once and let it auto generate each month without remembering to do it manually.
the privacy first angle is genuinely refreshing, and honestly the no signup thing made me actually want to try it instead of bouncing. exported a quick pdf and it looked pretty clean for something running entirely in the browser.
