A mock interview mode would be huge here. After the briefing, let me actually practice answering the scripted questions out loud with timing feedback, or even run a back-and-forth voice session where it throws curveball questions at me. Reading a doc is one thing, hearing myself stumble on the real thing is what I need before the actual interview.
@ferdinand_galloway This is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for, thank you. You're right that reading a briefing and actually performing under pressure are two very different things, and the stumbling-out-loud part is honestly the harder problem to solve well.
Not built yet, but it's now very much on my radar. Curious which part would matter most to you, the timing/pacing feedback on your own answers, or the curveball back-and-forth voice session? Trying to figure out which one to tackle first.

A mock interview mode would be huge here, where it actually listens to your answers and gives feedback on clarity or rambling. Right now you get the prep materials but there's still that gap between reading scripted answers and actually saying them out loud under pressure.
@xavier_shelley Appreciate this, and yeah, that gap between reading a script and actually delivering it out loud under pressure is real, that's probably the biggest thing prep materials alone can't solve.
Don't have a mock interview mode built yet, but this is the second time this exact feedback has come up today, so it's clearly a real gap. Leaning toward exploring it.
Quick question if you don't mind, would the clarity/rambling feedback matter more to you as a post-answer review (recording, then getting notes), or would you want it live, in the moment, while you're answering?

A recording feature where you can do a mock round and get feedback on pacing and filler words would be a really natural next step, since the prep materials are already so tailored to the actual interview.
@silas_abernathy This is the third time today someone's brought up almost exactly this, so I think you all just found the actual next problem to solve.
Agree it's a natural next step, once the prep is tailored to the interview, the awkward gap left is going from reading it to actually delivering it out loud, pacing and filler words are a good concrete way to measure that.
Not built yet, but clearly worth prioritizing given how consistently this keeps coming up. If you had to pick, would you rather review a recording after the fact, or get flagged in real time while you're talking?

the way you broke everything into exactly 9 sections is honestly such a clean move, makes the briefing feel structured without being overwhelming. nice execution on the research speed too.
@meetuppro Really appreciate that, thank you. The 9-section structure took a few rounds of trimming, it's easy to cram in more sections and end up overwhelming instead of helpful, so glad that landed the way it was meant to.
And thanks for calling out the research speed too, that's the part I sweated the most getting right under a minute.
