Freelancers lose 6+ hrs/week writing proposals and SOWs they can't bill for. That's ~$23K/year gone. InkProse: paste a client email, the AI asks clarifying questions, then generates a polished proposal, SOW, case study, or scope doc in your voice. BYOK: your browser talks directly to Anthropic/OpenAI/Gemini. We never see your data. ~$0.02/doc. $49 one-time. Not $49/month like Proposify. One payment, done.

Hey everyone! Jose here — I built InkProse.
Quick backstory: I freelanced for years and the pattern was always the same. Client sends a vague email. I spend 60-90 minutes writing a proposal. Another 30 minutes on the SOW. Multiply by 3-4 clients a month and that's a full workday gone every week — all unbillable.
I tried using ChatGPT directly, but I'd spend 10 minutes crafting the prompt, another 10 reformatting the output, and then start from scratch with the next client because it doesn't remember anything.
So I built InkProse. The key decisions:
BYOK (Bring Your Own Key): Your browser talks directly to Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini. I never see your API key or your documents. This means my operating cost is near zero — which is why it's $49 once instead of $49/month like Proposify.
Conversational, not form-based: Instead of filling out template fields, you paste a client email and have a conversation. The AI asks clarifying questions before generating anything.
Client memory: Each client has persistent context — preferences, past projects, writing instructions. The second proposal for the same client doesn't start from zero.
Happy to answer any questions about the product, the BYOK model, or the build process.
