What is the working principle of this FP111 people counter? How does it count people?

This device adopts infrared beam blocking technology. It sets up an infrared beam between the transmitter and receiver. When pedestrians pass through and block the beam, the system will identify the passing direction and complete two-way inbound and outbound statistics. The whole process is fully anonymous and will not collect any personal privacy information of pedestrians.
