Hey Product Hunt,
I built IndustryLens because competitive intelligence in B2B SaaS is still much messier than people admit.
Most marketing and PMM teams have moved their day-to-day research into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini ā which works for one-off questions. But competitive intelligence isn't one-off. It's the accumulation of pricing changes, product launches, hiring shifts, reviews, changelogs, ads, and messaging updates over weeks and months.
The information is public.
The workflow is what breaks.
Most teams still end up leaving their AI tool to check pricing pages, scan LinkedIn posts, review changelogs, monitor competitors, and piece everything together manually before bringing that context back into ChatGPT or Claude.
That felt backwards to me.
If software categories are becoming queryable through AI agents, why is competitive intelligence still trapped inside dashboards?
So we rebuilt IndustryLens around MCP.
Now you can ask Claude or Cursor:
"Who competes with Apollo and what did they just ship?"
and get a sourced answer from a live competitive intelligence engine.
The goal isn't another dashboard.
It's making competitive intelligence available directly inside the tools people already use.
One line to install:
claude mcp add industrylens --transport http https://api.industry-lens.com/mc...
Klue and Crayon have MCP too ā but theirs is gated behind enterprise contracts. Ours has a public tier, published pricing, no demo call.
A few things I'd genuinely love feedback on today:
Would you use competitive intelligence directly from Claude or Cursor?
What competitor questions do you find yourself asking repeatedly?
What's still missing from MCP workflows today that would make them genuinely useful for research?
Would love to hear how your team handles competitor research today, especially the messy parts.

A lot of market intelligence tools give you more data. The interesting question is whether they help you make better decisions. That's the part that caught my attention here.
