Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm ZooHero, the maker of ImgSplit.
I built ImgSplit because I kept running into the same frustrating problem: whenever I needed to split an image, especially a long image, I had to open Photoshop just to make a few simple cuts. It felt way too heavy for such a basic task.
The alternative was uploading images to random online tools, which never felt great from a privacy standpoint.
So I built ImgSplit to make this simple: it's completely free, runs entirely in your browser, and your images never leave your device. No server, no upload, no account.
You can quickly split images into pieces, and also do freeform cuts when you just need to slice out specific parts of a long image without the hassle of opening PS.
