Turn any image into Minecraft pixel art and build plans in seconds. Img2MC maps your image to real Minecraft blocks, lets you adjust size, palette and dithering, calculates the materials you need, and exports PNG, CSV or WorldEdit-compatibleschem files. Everything runs locally in your browser — no image upload required.
Hey Product Hunt
I built Img2MC because turning an image into something you can actually build in Minecraft is still more tedious than it should be.
Img2MC converts images into Minecraft pixel art using real block palettes, then helps you turn the result into an actual build plan. You can adjust the size, palette and dithering, check the materials you’ll need, and export the result as PNG, CSV, or a WorldEdit-compatible .schem file.
One thing I cared about from the beginning was keeping it simple and private, so image processing happens locally in your browser instead of uploading your images to a server.
It’s free to use, and I’m still improving it based on real Minecraft building workflows.
I’d really appreciate feedback from Minecraft builders and pixel-art creators — especially on block matching, export formats, or anything that would make the building process easier.
Thanks for checking out Img2MC!
