Hey Product Hunt!
I’m excited to share Image to Vector Master — a Figma plugin for controlled image vectorization.
I built it because I wanted image vectorization in Figma to feel more precise, visual, and designer-first. In many design workflows, vectorizing an image is not just about pressing one button and accepting whatever comes out. You often want to control how much detail is preserved, how colors are interpreted, how the final shapes look, and whether a certain configuration can be reused later.
Image to Vector Master brings that workflow directly into Figma.
You select an image, open the plugin, and work with a dedicated vectorization preview. From there, you can adjust thresholds, choose color modes, preview different results, and save configurations for future use. Once the result looks right, you apply the final vector artwork back to your Figma document.
The main idea is control:
convert images into vector artwork, fine-tune the result yourself, and keep the full workflow inside Figma.
This plugin is especially useful for designers who want to vectorize larger, more colorful, or more complex images — not just tiny icons or simple logos.
I created a short demo and a full tutorial for the launch, and I’d love to hear your feedback — especially from designers working with illustrations, posters, campaign visuals, editorial layouts, product graphics, or experimental visual design.
Thanks for checking it out!
