We're super proud to have built the voice note flow up from the core of our app, making such a streamlined flow that it's friendly for neurodiverse users. It really is the future of notetaking--but we have so much more planned! We love Notion and see it as a companion, rather than a competitor. Where Notion excels is hierarchical organization of projects, curation tasks, etc. That's all well and good but Notion is extremely slow to use, taking upwards of 20 seconds to load databases on pages I just want to add a single entry to. No notetaking tool has realized what we have: that insight is king, and unblocking thought-capture is the way to go!

@jacob_cole @cody_hergenroeder Notion is annoyingly slow indeed, and support has deteriorated to the level of boilerplate replies and "we'll pass it on to the team" at best.

I would like to direct you to "How I Use Ideaflow for Blogging," recorded by a prolific blogger (https://ideaflow.app/shared/9Wjl...), to get started. We are planning to introduce more features in this direction, but Ideaflow already synergizes well with Notion and Google Docs (we use all of these tools together ourselves). Ideaflow serves as a quick capture buffer for your mind. It is more directly a replacement for Apple Notes or any tool you currently use for quick note-taking. However, it excels in queuing up items to add to a team knowledge base or aggregating text snippets for writing articles. The hashtag + filtering workflow enables you to consolidate all the little flashes of insight over time. Additionally, you can capture ideas using your voice. It also includes built-in todos and a compact view of search results. This feature in Ideaflow is particularly useful for consolidating information to add to a knowledge base. It provides not only all the matching notes you're searching for but also the matching lines. For instance, if you took many notes on a particular conversation, and only one of those lines was a #quote relevant to include in your launch blog post, the detailed search results in Ideaflow can help you find it.
