Every person (or pet) you care for gets a huddle ā a private space where family and helpers coordinate meds, tasks, schedule, journal, messages, and documents. Everyone sees the same plan, live, on iOS, Android, and web. Free to start. US only for now.
Hi Product Hunt š
I'm Miguel, and I built HuddleCare because family caregiving usually runs on group texts, paper notes, and one exhausted person holding it all in their head.
HuddleCare gives each person (or pet) you care for a "huddle" ā a private care team. Inside: tasks, medications with Given/Missed dose logging, a schedule anchored to your loved one's time zone (an 8 PM dose means 8 PM where Mom lives, wherever you are), a care journal, messages, documents, and contacts. Elder, child, and pet huddles each adapt their language and features.
Three things that mattered to me while building it:
⢠Privacy first. Care content never goes to third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools ā that's a written promise in our privacy policy, not just a setting.
⢠Real permissions. Member roles are enforced in the database's security rules, not just hidden in the UI.
⢠Full parity. iOS, Android, and web are the same app ā nobody on the care team is stuck with a lesser version.
The build story, since PH folks often ask: I'm not a professional developer. I'm the product owner, and I built this solo ā learning the stack as I went, pair-programming with AI (Claude Code) in small verified steps, with hand-reviewed security rules and a lot of store-review scar tissue. Happy to answer anything about that journey.
It's free to start, with paid tiers for bigger care teams. US-only at launch (and 18+) ā I want to do the privacy and legal work properly before expanding to other countries.
I'd love feedback ā especially from anyone in the sandwich generation coordinating care right now. What would make this genuinely useful for your family?
