I built HotTakes because, on most social media platforms, sharing an unpopular opinion either gets you canceled, buried, or lost in an algorithm that rewards safe, mainstream takes. HotTakes is different. There are no followers, no comment sections, and no endless debates—just a space to share your unfiltered thoughts and see how people react. Users can respond with one of four reaction emojis, keeping engagement simple and direct. You can post anonymously or with a username, but you only get one post per day, so make it count. Every take is limited to 280 characters—short, sharp, and straight to the point. And if you want to share it outside the app, you can instantly turn it into an image.
