@gaby_korablyova Sure thing! Major differences are there’s no credit check required and no long application process or paperwork with Flow! You can find out if your invoice qualifies and get paid instantly on outstanding receivables. Flow is also private, meaning your clients won’t be notified when you Flow an invoice.

How do you ensure that you are paying out legit businesses with real customers? Instant payout and no credit check sounds like magic! 😀

When you create an account on Hopscotch, we ask for general information about your business (Business name, Employee Identification Number (EIN) [not required], your address, etc.). This data is then validated using third-party software to ensure your business (or you as an individual) is legit. Once you're validated, Hopscotch Flow relies on a proprietary cash flow based underwriting model to build a picture of your business' credit worthiness and the type of clients you may be transacting with. When you send an invoice to a client, the email address you input and the invoice details also provide us with valuable information. All of this helps us offer a magical experience that is completely private. Hope that helps answer your question!

Love this product for so many reasons! Been using Hopscotch for invoicing for almost 6 months and it's super simple and less clunky than my previous process. Can't wait to give Flow a try when I have a client who does pay late or needs a few reminders. Wondering how will we know if we've been approved for Flow?

Invoices qualified for Flow are marked by a blue chevron on the accounting page; you will also be notified seconds after sending the invoice (although, you can turn off this notification if it becomes too distracting). To create an account you must have A) an EIN [for companies] or SSN [for individuals] and B) a US-based bank account. As a Hopscotch member, you can collect and/or make payments to anyone with a US-based payment method (bank account or card) - this person/business does not need to create a Hopscotch account to transact with you. We've used Hopscotch Flow and can't say enough good things about the product and team. They make it SUPER easy to flow invoices to help manage your business cashflow. This is a cool idea. How does this interact with Stripe? We're currently using Stripe payment recovery. Can we use this in addition to that, or should we use this instead of Stripe recovery? Congrats on the launch.

@cwbuilds1 Hi there! Hopscotch replaces Stripe, if you are using Stripe for sending one-off our recurring invoices. We offer similar customization options when it comes to branding your invoices & payment screens. The best part (vs. Stripe): it is free to accept bank transfers from clients and you can automatically pass on credit card fees to your clients as well. Flow will be available for most invoices you send via Hopscotch, but you are not required to activate it for every one. Flow is not competitive with Stripe Recovery; Flow can be used to advance funds from outstanding invoices so you don't have to wait net-30-90 to get paid, whereas Stripe Recovery has a different use case. Hope this helps! Note: Hopscotch is not built for SaaS companies and we do not offer APIs - this is where Stripe is best suited.
