Every team has people who remember everything β how that bug got fixed, why you switched databases. Everyone else asks them. All day. HiveMind turns your Slack and files into a searchable knowledge base. Ask in plain English, get answers with sources. Seniors get their afternoons back. New hires ramp in days, not months.

Hey Product Hunt! π
We built HiveMind after watching senior engineers on my team spend half their day answering the same questions β how we fixed a bug, why we made an architectural decision, what a client asked for months ago. The knowledge was there. It just lived in someone's head or buried 300 messages deep in Slack.
HiveMind connects your files and Slack so anyone can ask a question and get an answer with the exact source it came from. No more digging, no more interrupting the one person who remembers everything.
We built this on weekly hackaton β would love to hear what your team's biggest knowledge pain point is. Happy to answer anything! π
To connect with Slack:

How do you handle outdated threads, do you show recency and let teams mark an answer as the current truth?
@othman_katimΒ Hi! Threads deleted from Slack remain in the knowledge base since they may still contain useful information. Users can remove them manually using the trash icon next to the channel in the HiveMind sidebar. You're right that there's no visual indicator for inactive channels yet, that's a good callout and something we plan to add soon!
@othman_katimΒ Currently HiveMind includes timestamps on Slack messages so the AI is aware of recency when answering. The model tends to surface newer information when there's a conflict. That said, an explicit "mark as current truth" feature is an interesting idea and something worth looking into.
