Most Islamic apps focus on dates, facts, or heavy academic texts that feel like chores to read. Hirah is different—it’s an emotional sanctuary designed to replace mindless social media scrolling with meaningful, bite-sized reflection. We transform the lives of great Muslims into short, beautiful chapters that offer comfort during moments of anxiety or spiritual distance. Each story ends with a guided reflection to help you apply timeless wisdom to your life today.

Assalamu Alaikum / Hi everyone! 👋
I’m the developer behind Hirah, and I’m so excited to share it with you all today.
Like many of you, I found myself falling into a repetitive trap: whenever I felt anxious, lonely, or just needed a break, my instinct was to reach for my phone and doom-scroll through social media. It only ever left me feeling more drained and disconnected.
I wanted a "digital sanctuary"—a place I could open for just 3–5 minutes that would actually leave me feeling better than when I started.
That’s why I built Hirah.
Instead of just another history app with dry facts and dates, I wanted to focus on the human side of Islamic history. I curated stories about the struggles, faith, and patience of the people who shaped our tradition, turning their lives into bite-sized chapters that offer real-world comfort.
Every story ends with a short, guided reflection so you don’t just read—you connect.
I’d love your feedback on:
The reading experience (is it calm/distraction-free?)
The "Reflections" feature—does it help you apply the lessons to your daily life?
Any features you’d love to see in future updates!
This is a passion project built from the heart, and having this community check it out means the world to me. Thank you for your support and for being part of this launch! 🤍
