@loggerhead let's just say I am keeping it as scientific and unbiased as possible and me myself through this project learned that words mean things and if you phrase things and use certain words with true topics they become not true anymore but become neutral or half true or even right out false.

I can imagine several use cases of this product: writing academic articles, writing social media posts… Btw, how do your plugin find out what is really the “fact”? Or you just check there are existing webpage describes the text too.

Who fact checks the fact checkers? Certain media outlets are very negative Trump or Harris all the time, which are obviously biased, How do you weed out fact from fantasy?

@rmagrino I voted for Trump last election. And through this project I learned something about the far Right. They will take untrue things and will spread it without basis. The basis they claim is tied to the truth written in the lie they are spreading. Words mean things and you just can't say anything you want because you and the group all "think" together. The far left has the same issue. Both are producers of half truth, and false information. How do you combat it. I use multiple places for search, not only Google. The issue here lies in what is factual is not accepted by either far Right or Left. As for fairness, if you look through and fact check trump and right related things outside of conspiracy theory .. the HLFC is fair, and without bias. The bias more than anything will come from the language models. I could use an uncensored LLM, but that will be a future experiment. For this to work it has to be a certain way because, the obvious, the search networks will rank our site higher.

I tried "Kamala Harris is now flying them in, instead of deporting them." The fact checking said this is partially true, instead of saying it's absolutely true. So, it is biased. I'll pass.

@mitia words, words mean things, so when one person is stuffing words into truth and or one has replicate-able evidence or vice versa, it clears things up in a scientific manner in the case of word usage
