Launched this week
I got tired of AI headshot sites that look great in the demo then want $35/month forever. Headshot.ltd is simpler: upload a few phone selfies, pick a background, get headshots in ~10 min. Pay once, starting from $8, keep the photos, no subscription. 200+ backgrounds. Free background swap if you already have a photo but hate the room behind you. Doesn't look like you? We refund it. NEW30 is coupon code for new users, avail 30% off! Valid till end of month.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Khan, Co-founder of Headshot.ltd 👋
Getting a professional headshot is still more painful than it should be. Book a photographer ($200+), an hour wasted, hope the lighting works — or use an AI tool that wants a monthly subscription for one LinkedIn photo.
Headshot.ltd keeps it simple: upload a few phone selfies, pick a background, get headshots back in about 10 minutes. Pay once from $8. No subscription. Money back guarantee.
Three things we focused on for this launch:
- 200+ backgrounds (office blurs, law offices, plain neutrals — not just one grey studio wall)
- Strict generation rules so the output keeps your actual face — same person, sharper suit, better lighting, higher quality. Not a stranger who vaguely looks like you.
- Free background swap if you already have a photo you like but hate what's behind you
Built for LinkedIn updates, resume photos, and team pages or one credible headshot without the studio bill.

Would love to hear your thoughts, questions, or suggestions below.
Happy to answer anything below.
Love the one time pricing and refund promise, that's a refreshing take. One thing that would seal it for me would be a quick outfit swap option, like a few presets for blazer vs no blazer, since a lot of us need different looks for LinkedIn vs a conference bio. Would round out the backgrounds nicely.
@ecrindaler Thank you, i am glad the one-time pricing lands.
We do have blazer / business casual attires in the preset library, but I hear you on making a faster "outfit swap" without starting over. LinkedIn vs conference headshot is a common use case and we're working on making that clearer in the UI.
Would love to know if you try it and whether the presets hit what you need :)
Love the pay-once model and refund promise, super refreshing compared to the usual subscription traps. One idea: add a quick outfit change option alongside the background swap, maybe a few preset blouses or jackets. People updating LinkedIn photos often want a slightly more polished look than what they wore the day they took their selfies.
@mihribansalonu Thank you, really glad the pricing model resonates with people.
You're not wrong about the use case. A lot of people snap selfies in a t-shirt and only realize on upload day that LinkedIn needed something sharper.
We do have outfit/attire options in the generator (jackets, business casual, etc.) bundled with backgrounds in the presets. Sounds like we haven't made that obvious enough, or made it fast enough to swap without rerunning everything.
If you try the attire picker and it still feels buried, tell me where you got stuck. Genuinely useful feedback.
Used it last week and honestly the background swap alone is worth it, way easier than messing around in photoshop. Results looked pretty close to me too.
@evren163725 Thanks for trying it, means a lot.
Background swap is free by design. If the face is fine and only the room is wrong, you shouldn't need Photoshop or a paid plan for that.
Glad the background swap was smooth. That's what we're aiming for.
the pay-once pricing with the refund-if-it-doesn't-look-like-you guarantee is honestly the smartest part here, shows you actually thought about trust instead of just chasing subs
@erdemzdzmxx3 Thank you!
Subscriptions made sense for the incumbents, less so for someone who needs one LinkedIn photo and never opens the site again. Pay once felt obvious once we framed it that way.
The refund guarantee is the same idea. If it doesn't look like you, we failed and keeping your money wouldn't fix that. We'd rather you tell us and we make it right or refund it.
Appreciate you noticing the trust angle.
the refund policy if it doesn't look like you is honestly such a smart move, basically removes all the risk that usually makes me hesitate with these AI photo tools.
@sonkupu12462 100%...that hesitation is real with AI headshots tools.
If it doesn't look like you, you shouldn't be stuck with it. That's the whole point of the guarantee.
Thanks for pointing it out :).
love that the refund policy is just stated plainly right on the page instead of buried in fine print. feels like the team actually trusts the product to deliver.
@hamzasefil3idj Thanks. We deliberately put it above the fold for that reason.
If we're asking you to upload your face and pay before you see results, hiding the guarantee in fine print would be weird. Either we stand behind the output or we don't.
Good to hear it reads as trust, not marketing. That's what we were going for.
