looks really cool... what else do hackers/hustlers use to get/keep fit?
i started playing basketball 3 times a week at 355 berry street courts, and i use a standing desk.

I built this to help beginners get started. I want to help people become healthy. It's 100% free.
I launched it yesterday and have over 1,000 users so far. It's still in the early stages but I'd love to get some feedback from you. It's not the end-all to getting fit, but it's a great place to start.
@eriktorenberg I use...
Biking to/from work,
Complex cardio like martial arts & hip hop dance, goldmedalbodies.com's "P1" bodyweight workout w/ @liveink
Though I've been incorporating more running since it burns calories so efficiently time-wise
BTW, from what I can tell as a first-time user, if you like this, you'll like GainFitness - very similar, but a mobile app for using while you're at the gym or traveling. Tell it what kind of workout you want, and how long, and you get a new workout plan you can save or discard when you're done.
@paulhontz - what are the main principles underlying hackerbody? why yours over others?
also i'm curious - what inspired you to build this / what's the ultimate vision for it?

@eriktorenberg - What I really like about "body weight fitness" is that you can do it anywhere. You don't need weights or any special equipment to get started.
Right now HackerBody is a really great place for beginners but it doesn't have a lot to offer advanced users.
In the future HackerBody will be more holistic. We're letting our users drive our product to an extent, but right now we're looking at integrating diet, workout tracking, and integrating with other APIs (Hello iWatch/Fitbit!). After building some of the core tech, it would be easy to spin off into other markets.
I think we're going to be able to build something really special that helps people help themselves.
