Hi, I'm Sam, the founder of HackathonParty 👋
Over the past two years, I’ve been building HackathonParty to solve a very real problem I kept seeing at hackathons:
How do we help teams form faster, collaborate better, and get more out of the short time they have together?
HackathonParty is the first real-time facilitation tool for hackathons—built for organizers who want to spark better ideas, run smoother team formation, and make collaboration effortless.
We’ve tested it at dozens of events, from beginner-friendly student hacks to high-intensity themed challenges. It's now free for all student hackathons and events with 50 people or less—because we believe every hackathon should have access to better collaboration tools, not just the big ones.
Would love your thoughts, feedback, or even wild feature ideas. We’re just getting started. 🚀
Thanks for checking us out!
One of the key problems that we saw in the hackathon space was the big number of attendees that churn during the hack. People don't know what they should do to win, get frustrated and leave unhappy. Hackathon organizers get less for their money. Nobody is happy!
That's why we built HackathonParty. We don't just let you organize a hackathon, but we help attendees in every possible way to succeed - team finder, learning center with all the information needed to win the hack, whiteboard, chat, and a bunch of other tools that help them successfully finish their project and get a lot of fun along the way :)
