Hey everyone! 👋 I built Habitopolis because every habit tracker I tried made progress feel like a chore — a checklist, a streak counter, a boring grid of checkmarks. I wanted something that actually felt rewarding to look at. So I started sketching: what if every habit was a tower, and every day was a floor? The more you show up, the taller your skyline gets. Miss a few days and the tower just... waits for you, quietly, instead of guilt-tripping you with a broken streak. The hardest part was the "heat map" — figuring out how to represent intensity (not just "did it happen" but "how much did I do") through color and light in a way that reads instantly, without needing a legend every time. That went through a lot of iterations before it clicked. Along the way I also added things people kept asking for once they saw early versions: dragging towers to rearrange your board, sharing a project with friends or teammates (read-only, so nobody can mess with your data), and one-click sharing to socials so you can actually show off the skyline you've built.
