Turn-based debates between several AIs (GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek or local models), each with an opposing role — Visionary, Skeptic, Ethicist — while you moderate. AGPL, self-hostable, and it can run 100% on your machine with Ollama/LM Studio. Free hosted beta. Open source.

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 Solo founder from Madrid here.
H2AI Chat started with a simple observation: a single AI tends to agree with itself. Ask one model for advice and you get one confident voice — no pushback, no second opinion.
So I built the opposite: a turn-based debate where several AIs argue a topic, each with a deliberately opposing role (the Skeptic's whole job is to find holes in the Visionary's argument), through phases that actually END with a conclusion — and you're the moderator: you set the topic, interrupt, redirect, and keep the conclusions.
What I think makes it different:
🔓 Open source (AGPL) and self-hostable
🖥️ It can run ENTIRELY on your machine with local models (Ollama / LM Studio) — one docker compose command. Your conversations never leave your computer.
📚 A curated public gallery of real debates, so you can read one before signing up.
I asked six AIs for a human habit they find absurd — and then to defend it anyway. One picked opening the fridge five times in ten minutes: "Nothing changed. The same lonely mustard is still there."
Then it defended it, beautifully.

The hosted version at h2aichat.com is a free open beta — I'd genuinely love your feedback: does multi-AI debate give you better answers than one strong model? What topic would you throw at a panel of arguing AIs?
I'll be here all day answering everything. 🙏
