Howdy PH folks! Claire here, CEO of Know Your Team. It's been a minute since we launched anything new for y'all... and it's because we've been working on something big the past 2 years 😅 . I'm so thrilled to share it with you today: Our Guide to Rethinking Performance Reviews.
The concept of "performance reviews" has never sat well with me, personally. After all, reviews are for books, movies and restaurants – not people. So when I started to dig into why performance reviews exist in the first place + what could be better, it befuddled me that an alternative (especially for smaller organizations!) was not obvious.
As a result, here at Know Your Team, we spent almost 2 years researching + writing this guide, distilling research from 20+ years, conducting our own independent research with 1,087 managers and employees to share a path forward. The result is this guide, beautifully designed + built by the inimitable James Goode (@everycopy).
